What several sources agree on
- Your willpower is hooked up to your sense of self, so what you want and who you are move together.
- Your will really lands once someone has recognized and invited you first. Without that, it keeps hitting closed doors.
- Charging ahead without being asked usually meets pushback, and you can come across as pushy.
- A lot of your chart stays open around this, so your head gets pulled every which way and makes poor calls.
- Old habits nudge you toward comfort or dodging conflict, so choosing for yourself can feel selfish at first.
How to use it
When you're invited into something, talk it over with one or two people you trust and listen to yourself. Look for the 'me' in it: what you get out of it, whether you want to put the effort in. If all you find are reasons to please others, it's a no.
Example
A former colleague asks you to join his team. Talking to your best friend, you hear yourself say, 'Honestly, for me, it's worth it. I want this.' You say yes.
How to spot it on a chart
The Heart (willpower) connects to the G center, with no link to the Throat and no other deciding motor. You find it in some Projectors.
