How to use it
Talk about the decision without rehearsing. Listen for sentences that start with 'I want' or 'I'm up for'. If you feel ready to commit and keep your word, that's a good sign. If you hear yourself hedging, wait.
Example
Two friends ask you to take over a bar with them. Telling your mom about it, you hear yourself say, 'I want my own thing.' There's your answer.
